Are you an architect? A student? Are you seeking for a job? Do you want to:
- change tasks
- change office
- become an intern
- change city
- Is your CV ready but you do not know how to search to apply for a new job?
You are in the right place
Here the virtual spaces in which I found the most interesting offers, divided into categories:
- job search platforms: it is not my favourite method of research, but it is the classic one. Use a very known platform (example: indeed.com), select your area of expertise and find available proposals in your city. I do not like it very much since, very often small offices as architectural ones (and the majority is VERY small) use other channels (see the other voices) and not this traditional one.
- architectural platforms: just like Indeed, but dedicated to the architectural and building world. These platforms are more specific, above all in the role you have to fill. Just a few:
- https://www.bd4jobs.com/ – building design 4 jobs
- https://www.mustardjobs.co.uk/ – mustard jobs
- https://www.adremgroup.com – adrem group
- https://www.anderselite.com/ – anders elite
- https://skilledcareers.co.uk/ – skilled careers
- https://www.bespokecareers.com/ – bespoke careers
- https://www.edenbrown.com/ – eden brown
- https://www.rgb.co.uk/ – rgb, especially for UK
- http://solutionrecruitment.com/
- write yours!
- from the review or the social platform: similar to those just listed, they are platforms dedicated only for architectural jobs. The difference is that they are contained on the website of an online architectural reviews. Let’s see some of them.
- the office website / social channel: it seems obvious, but it isn’t. Many offices are searching for new roles but they don’t write a line on public job platforms. Instead, they put an announcement in their Instagram profile, Facebook page, personal website. Do you like a firm? Search for it. It is the method I used most.
- Linkedin: not that much used from many architectural offices, but still an important resource
- local resources: each reality has its own microsystems than take a look. In Italy for example, many job proposals are contained also in the website of the Order of Architects of a city (where architects are registered).
Let me know if you discovered other resources! I will be happy to share them!
