Windows Movie maker was a great app to edit videos, create transitions, add/edit audio, in a very intuitive and simple way – which is the reason of its great success.
It was included in the Windows Essentials Suite in 2012 but unluckily their staff decided to suspend any support (and therefore any download) to this app. You can read the official communication here.
There were new versions to substitute it, created by Windows, but none of them was complete as that one. People who used this app never forgot its beauty and utility, and many of them (like me) searched for the possibility to download it again, even if it has not a support team behind.
In the internet, you can find several fakes, malwares… I was struggling to find a decent copy. This is why I decided – once I found a functioning and clean version – to post it here. For free, of course!
Be careful anyway, there is no more support for this app, but enjoy it 🙂
